Applebee’s Fiasco: A Night to Forget** Last weekend, we decided to give Applebee’s another shot after a less-than-stellar experience a while back. I was under the impression that they had a special going on, but as it turns out, I was confusing it with Chili’s. A mix-up right from the start, and unfortunately, it didn’t get much better. When we arrived, the restaurant wasn’t particularly busy, yet the service was incredibly slow. Our drinks took forever to arrive, leaving us parched and annoyed. We decided to start with a tray of appetizers: salsa and chips, cheese sticks, chicken quesadillas, and some fries. Simple enough, right? Well, it seems not. When the food finally came out, it was clear something was off. The salsa was bland, the cheese sticks were lukewarm, and the fries were cold.
